Dr. Stacee Morgan, DVM
Owner and Practicing Veterinarian
Dr. Stacee Morgan was born and raised on a small hobby farm in Powell, Wyoming. During her childhood, she was strongly involved in 4-H and FFA and had a variety of pets, including a cat named Curious and a bottle calf named Goober. After high school, she attended Chadron State College in Chadron, Nebraska, where she competed on the track and field team and completed a Bachelor of Science degree.
Dr. Morgan attended Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2016. Shortly after graduation, she moved to Spokane Valley, Washington, and began working at a small animal veterinary clinic. During Dr. Morgan’s six years in private practice, she’s worked for three private small animal veterinary practices and discovered her love for management. She is intensely interested in preventative medicine, soft tissue surgery, and emergency medicine.
In 2018, Dr. Morgan met her husband, Steve. They were married in August 2020. Steve grew up in Moses Lake, WA, serving in the United States Marine Corps. Together they have three dogs: Jaeger, Oaklee, and Saydee. The Morgans love the Pacific Northwest and everything it offers, including bass fishing, hiking with their dogs, golfing, and camping.
They are excited to serve the Spokane community as Lilac City Veterinary Services. They look forward to building lasting relationships and treating you like family.
Dr. Rylie Gabehart, DVM
Associate and Practicing Veterinarian
Born with a love for creatures great and small, Dr. Rylie Gabehart grew up caring, and advocating, for animals. Throughout her childhood her time outside of school was spent birdwatching and rehabilitating local wildlife and strays as well as nurturing her many beloved family pets. Her innate love of animals and compassionate understanding of their important role in our lives naturally evolved into her pursuit of veterinary medicine.
In 2010, Dr. Gabehart moved to the Spokane area and began her journey with dedicated volunteerism at several non-profit organizations for animals, and people. During that time she attended Whitworth University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in biology. After spending several years in human sleep research, her continued desire to care for animals in need evolved into becoming a veterinary assistant for a clinic in Spokane Valley, where she gained valuable experience before attending Washington State University. Since her graduation from WSU, she has continued development of her interests in One Health (fostering relationships between people, animals, and the environment) as well as pursuit of knowledge in preventative and internal medicine.
While attending WSU, Dr. Gabehart met her fiancé, Alex, who grew up in the area, graduated from the University of Idaho, and is currently working in the engineering design field in the Spokane Valley. When not out and about hiking or enjoying the outdoors and local parks with their lab mix Cali, they love spending their free time together hanging out and doing all things nerdy and fun!
Dr. Gabehart is excited to have returned to the Spokane area and is looking forward to, once again, working with the local community and its members, helping to foster the human-animal bond and improving the health of their beloved furry family members.
Dalynn Heller
Office Manager
Dalynn Heller grew up in California and moved to Spokane Valley in 2009. In 2010 she found herself in the veterinary field as an assistant. Over the last 12 years, she has worked as a client service representative and veterinary assistant. In 2016, Dalynn had the opportunity to become the office manager and has been juggling all three positions ever since.
Her love for veterinary medicine started at a young age when she grew up on her Grandfather’s dairy farm. Dalynn followed the family veterinarian and learned everything she could about the care of animals. Her favorite part about working in the veterinary industry is building strong relationships with clients, people, and animals alike.
In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and their two dogs, Jaxson and Riggs. When Dalynn is not taking care of her family, you can find her tending to her garden, remodeling her house, and chasing her ever-growing flock of chickens.
Dalynn is excited about the opportunity to meet all of Lilac City Veterinary Services’ clients and four-legged family members. She looks forward to creating lasting friendships and loving her pets as much as you do.
Kari Pintler, LVT
Head Anesthesia and Analgesia Veterinary Technician
Kari Pintler LVT is honored to work at Lilac City Veterinary Services. She has a passion for excellent patient care and individualized anesthesia and pain management protocols. Kari was born in Davenport, Iowa, but due to the economic difficulties of the time, she moved to Washington in the early 80s. Her family finally settled just north of Spokane in Deer Park, where she went K-12 and graduated with her high school diploma in 2000.
After high school, she attended Yakima Valley Community College for two years, earning her Associate of Applied Science degree in Veterinary Technology in 2002. She received a program award for academic excellence, graduating with a 4.0 GPA. Kari has worked in the veterinary field with a diverse range of clinics across eastern Washington for the past 20 years. This includes small animal medicine, large animal medicine, a small number of exotics and wildlife, and even two years at a high-volume spay/neuter practice. Once monthly, she participates in a low-cost cat spay/neuter clinic in Stevens County to help with population control up north.
She has been married for 13 years and has three beautiful children active in Scouts of America (formerly BSA). Kari has a hobby farm on 10 acres with three goats and too many chickens to count. Her pets include a long list of misfits rescued from various clinics across the state: Trace (pitbull, tripod), Opal (Border Collie Mix), Harry (DLH & resident grumpy older man), Cooter (DSH, tripod), Paige (DSH, the youngster), and Macintosh, the barn cat. Her hobbies include gardening, homesteading, chasing three youngsters, cooking from scratch, and preserving all the goodness the land provides.
Kari looks forward to years of providing excellent care to your pets and building long-lasting relationships.
Gabby Hickerson, LVT

Kelley Hickerson LVT goes by Gabby. Gabby was born and raised in the middle of California but has lived in the beautiful Pacific Northwest for the last 32 years. She met her wonderful husband, Bruce, and has been married for 22 years. They have two grown children and many fur babies. Amongst those critters include a horse named Leroy, two dogs named Diesel and Jake (from State Farm), and two small furries named Ivan and Mouse. She lives on a small piece of land in northern Idaho.
Gabby has worked exclusively in the veterinary field since 1999 and received her veterinary technician license in 2004. Selah Telkamp, LVT
licensed veterinary technician
Selah Telkamp was born and raised in Paola, Kansas, a small country town, outside of Kansas City, Kansas. She is the youngest of 4 children and is very close with her older brother, and both of her sisters. Being raised in the country, Selah loved being outside and getting dirty. She would spend her free time exploring the creek with her neighbors and siblings and swimming on hot summer days. When she wasn’t exploring the creek, she was playing with the family yellow lab named Penny and the barn cats. While the number of barn cats reached double digits Selah named everyone and could tell them apart. The family favorites included a white and gray tabby named Felix, an all-black bobbed tail named Stubby, and a black and white cat named Zippity-doo-dah (Zippy) for short.
Growing up Selah was a competitive swimmer. Starting around the age of 8 she would wake up early with her sisters and head to the local pool for early morning practice. Her whole family would spend Saturdays at competitions. Selah competed until her junior year of high school when Covid-19 cut her season short. While in school Selah worked a few different jobs including soccer referee, sales associate at Dollar General, and a veterinary assistant. After high school Selah attended Colby Community College for the Veterinary Nursing program. She graduated in May of 2023.
In 2019 Selah met her husband Kyle, who was raised in Spokane Valley. Over the next 4.5 years they were in a long-distance relationship until they wed in September of 2023. Selah moved to Spokane in early October of 2023 and the Lilac City Veterinary Services team. She also has her veterinary technician license and is excited to serve the animals of the Spokane region.
In her free time Selah enjoys working out with her husband, hiking, bike riding, hanging out with her pets, and playing games with friends and family. At home Selah has 2 cats, a male named Zeke and a female named Ella.

Veterinary Assistant
Aubreyanna Hansen goes by Abby, as it’s a little easier to remember. Abby was born in Spokane, Washington but grew up in Vancouver, Washington. She spent every summer in Creston, Washington on a piece of family property. Throughout her entire childhood, she always remembered having a pet of some kind, including fish, rabbits, birds, cats and dogs. In 2013, Abby and her family permanently relocated to Creston, Washington. Abby then met her fiancé, Bryce, in 2016 and together they have had a wonderful son and six fur-babies along the way. She has three dogs, Mocha, Korra and Katara and three cats, Kota, Flak and Sokka.
Growing up, Abby always knew she wanted to work with animals, whether that be in the Marine Biology field, Zoology field, or the Veterinary field. She has an immense love for all animals and a passion to take care of them. After graduating in 2019, she went directly into the Veterinary field as a receptionist, then became a Veterinary Assistant. After working for two years, she went on to have her son in 2021, and has since returned to the Veterinary field.
When she’s not at the clinic, Abby enjoys spending time with her family and pets. She also enjoys going on walks, fishing, camping and playing games.
